SCRIP NEWS: Just a reminder that the Back to School special runs until Saturday, Sept. 13. During this special you will receive 90% rebate towards your scrip designation. Please make Scrip a part of your weekly routine. The entire parish family benefits from all Scrip purchases. If you have questions regarding the Scrip program please contact Joyce at 639-6416. Scrip will be available in the school on Monday mornings from 7:45-8:15 AM.
The Food Bank is in need of the following: Bars of soap, deodorant and toothpaste. There will be a container in the Gathering Room for any donations.

It’s that time of year again when Betty Pequignot will be around to as many homes as possible, for your donation to the Money Jar. Thanks to everyone’s generosity last year the money jar sold for $1660.00. Please be as generous as possible again this year.

Offertory Envelopes: PLEASE call the church office if you change your address. OSV will not forward your envelopes! This has to be done through the church office. We get charged for all envelope packets that come back to us so please take the time to give us a call.
Entertainment Store: We are now accepting donations for any of the following: paperback & hardback books, cassettes, CD’s, VHS Tapes, DVD’s, puzzles, board games and video games. There is a box in the Community Room marked “Entertainment Store”. All donations will be greatly appreciated.
Bishop Luers High School Alumni will host their Annual Golf Outing on Sat, Sept. 20 at Brookwood Golf Course. The Golf Outing will be a Florida Scramble with a 2:00 PM Shot Gun Start. BLHS is offering a PSAT/SAT Seminar on Mon, Sept 22 and Tues, Sept. 23 from 6-8:30 PM at the High School. This is a seminar for students of all ability levels. Students in our PSAT/SAT Seminar may see a 50-200 point increase. The individual score increse depends on how much effort is put into the preparation and application of the take home materials students will receive at this seminar.
