	St. Joseph Hessen Cassel Council 12379 is located next to St. Joseph's Catholic School on SR 27, just south of I-469.  The Grand Knight for 2008-2009 is Ronald Dekoninck. Council meets on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month at 7:00 PM. All meetings are held in the Parish Hall of Saint Joseph Hessen Cassel Church, 11512 South U.S. 27, Fort Wayne, IN. St. Joseph Hessen Cassel Council 12379, was founded in 1998 through the efforts of the District Deputy Tom Elshire, and the Charter Grand Knight, Robert Hartenstein. It is named after the Parish Church, founded over 150 years ago. The Knights of Columbus Council 12379 works closely with the Parish Church and School in Fort Wayne, Indiana providing funds for various projects. These projects range from within the parish to the local community, as well as participating in nationally sponsored events.
